New Life, New Site---a new way of thinking–on its way!---

Wah! It has been 6 months that I have been smoking heavily. I only smoke occasionally before, but now I manage to smoke at least 8 sticks on an 8 hour shift. Imagine that? Today, I managed to consume 4 sticks in just an hour break. Whoaa. Talking about Healthier Living. I metamorphosed into a Smoking Machine. I kept wondering what made me this way. I was thinking that this has been triggered due to stress and yet its making it worse. Ironic. I’m considering what should I do to quit or even slow down. I browsed a certain website suggesting methods on how to do it. But the methods there are too hard for me to follow! . I need to slow down. HELP!

3 Signs why it feels great to be Pinoy:

#1: Philippines is the World’s most sought after Outsourced Service Provider .

Different countries around the world are relying on our services on different Lines of Business. From Technical to Customer Service Support and from Financial to Travel & Hospitality. You name it - we serve them. I have been on this Industry for quite a long time now. And Yes, it is really fulfulling to know that we serve others. We’ve got the Power. A lot of companies are now eyeing the country as their next destination for their services.

 #2: Filipino are making BIG MARKS around the World.

There are a lot of Filipinos that made it big in different fields. You name it - we’ve got em. Take for example the recent Miss Universe 2007. Anna Theresa Licaros showed the world how Photogenic we are. Beautiful.

#3: Educators and Nurses are targeted for services abroad.

 A friend of mine just recently left the Philippines to practice her SPED in the US. Whoa! Another friend left to practice her skills in nursing. Isn’t it great that a lot of Filipinos are giving dollar revenue to the Philippines. All the more I’m proud to  be PINOY.

Yesterday, I was called for an OPS (Operations) Meeting. I already knew that something was about to happen. The meeting was a result of the FGD (Focus Group Discussion) we made with the Resident Vendor Manager. A stupid whistleblower leaked out information that was supposed to be confidential and that was entirely untrue. That STUPID Bitch! If only she could read this, but how unfortunate - she does not have internet access. Suchaloser!. Can you just imagine that I’m being accused of spreading negative comments against the OPS Team to our client. Imagine that, how unprofessional would I be if I do that. I have been brought up by my parents in good care and I know what is right and what is wrong!

Now, they are giving me a good reason to tender my resignation. I don’t know how to go about day by day, knowing that I’m on the Limelight (Is this what it takes to be me?) The atmosphere is hostile. I don’t know who to trust. People are leaving. I, for one would leave soon. I’m still waiting for more signs! Wah!  Help! 

To that STUPID Bitch - I have something to tell you - GET A LIFE!

May 23 - After an exhausting 8-hour shift at work , I decided to treat myself on an amazing ice cream at Dessert Factory . Although I was alone, I managed to make it to Ayala Center Cebu ( Wah, as if I don’t how to get there!) . As I was about to place an order when my phone rang with the usual beep-beep viper tone and in an instant my hand went from the menu to my phone inside my bag, oblivious that the lovely waitress was at my table ready to take my order. I was completely absorbed with the SMS that kept on coming . When the waitress was about to ask what my order was - I just waived my hand away. Imagine how rude I was.. I didn’t mean to be like that. Waaaah!!!. She walked away. . Anyway, when I looked up she was gone and as well as my appetite. What changed my mind? Well, t’was the SMS : “Guys, let’s have Lunch. My Treat. Harrison Park. Now.” Took the first cab and whoaaallllaaa… Harrison Park. Talking about Punctuality - I arrived first. . A couple of minutes later the rest of the guys arrived. Food was awesome, thanks to ice cold Red Horse. Anyway, it was the Last Lunch with Arianne who’s flying to Canada, May 25, 2007. Though the lunch atmosphere (insert: the Beer Drinking Session) was great but underneath loneliness is lurking. We’ll miss you Arianne. Though somewhat sad but definitely it would be a Happy Ending - she’ll be reunited with her hubby - fireworks expected (y’know what I mean! ).

Arianne, I’m gonna miss you but definitely this is not the end. We’ll still see each other. I won’t say goodbye but I’d see you soon. mwah. When we see each other, let’s go on bein’ Camwhores again! I’ll surely miss those. Mwah . Mwah . Mwah .

Arianne, See you soon!

Last night was supposedly another milestone in my Life but again my useless brain didn’t work. I can’t decide, I was supposed to sign a Contract to a new career. Actually, I was supposed to sign it but there are things that I want to clarify first before taking into a new career. Now, you might be asking how these situations are related to me being called Primo. The word was derived from the word Primadonna. To which I don’t know exactly what’s the meaning. It was Tin who called me as such. Coz, I can’t made up my mind. hehehe! useless brain again. Poor me right?

It has been 2 weeks since I tried to look for a new career or should I say a new job, but up until now I haven't made my decision as to what I should do next. A contract is waiting on the table for me to sign and start a new career. Peoplesupport has been a home for me for almost 7 months. I could definitely say that it was my Home. I was (take note was) Happy. But mostly for the past 4 months People has gone sour. Really sour. I do not know exactly what turned them sour. I was thinking that it could be that they are seeing themselves on top. What a bunch of airheads. We've noticed as well that people are leaving and are about to resign, count me in too. We are a sales account but it seems that we're not, we are being surrounded by people with heart of stones. The question is "What are we supposed to do then?" - we are not allowed to read anything, no loud voices on the floor, no chats with team mates, no eating, no sleeping - as if we are robots. Last night, I went to a Job Offer Presentation with Tin, Flor and AJ. I've read the contract thoroughly - and this was the 1st time I've read a contract from start to finish. Hehehe! Imsuchaloser. And again, I declined to sign it coz' there are things I need to think of. Honestly, the compensation is way so much better ($$$ eyes) than my with PS. But, I decided to postpone the contract signing - again. Tin made it to contract signing. Officially she's no longer on the Welcome to Unemployment List. Flor too made it. Unfortunately as for AJ - she didn't make it. Too bad :(. Tin is calling me Primo (derived from the word Primadona) coz I keep on extending the contract signing, actually I don't what I want these days. Get a Life. Undecided. Tsk tsk tsk.

Finally, after a couple of days of trying to cross the IT Dept.’s Surf Control - I made it through. Well, this is my first post. Surf Control my Ass. Goodluck to the Screenshots but I doubt it. I’m not on a call, so no Screenshots. My Ass. Bleh. Actually, I made this entry while I’m on my Lunch break. In 2 minutes I’ll be auto-in. Queue. Heavy.
